Terrium has undergone huge changes in the last few weeks. Under the hood, a new networking architecture has been developed to eliminate bugs and allow us to do things like spawn objects, swap vehicles, and fire projectiles. Also, a new system which allows us to save, load, and share custom worlds is being developed. Finally, the Premier Featured World has been completed and we're reducing the file size so that it can be loaded quickly by your web browser and included in the main game. Finally, the new vehicle models are added to the game and some general performance improvements have been made so that Terrium can run on older machines.

This week, our programming team was able to complete vehicle spawning and switching, an important part of game play. We also made huge strides in developing the world server and security system, which allow users to register with a password, and save their worlds online.

Usual delays associated with making a massively multiplayer online game with multiple moving parts. Project is still actively developed. Waiting on imminent playable build.

Currently, Terrium is in an alpha state where we can drive around in a buggy, and we have a featured world that serves as a "hub" where players can explore. We are currently developing the login, save, and load system which allows players to create their own maps, and optionally share them with the community. We are also developing an authority system to allow players to switch vehicles and spawn objects (such as laser beams) in real-time. Once these features are finished, Terrium will be ready for "beta" testing, so we can build up a database of user-created maps and tweak gameplay to make it more balanced and fun. We would like to thank everyone for their support and honest feedback during development. If it weren't for you, Terrium would not be where it is today.
